3rd Youth in Governance (YinG) Convention-2011, at Quaid-e-Azam University Islamabad


Transparency International of Pakistan is arranging two days 3rd Youth in Governance (YinG) Convention-2011, on November 22, 23, 2011 at Quaid-e-Azam University, Islamabad, to build a coherent National integrity system for internationalize efforts to curb corruption. Among one of the program undertaken by Transparency International Pakistan to achieve its objectives is targeting the youth. Youth in governance program was also initiated by TI to equip youth with the tools and skills to realize their rights and responsibilities, practice good governance and become active members of the society.
The aim of this program is to:
  • Educate youth on the value of their vote, good governance, their rights and responsibilities in Politics and Society.
  • Encourage youth to seek accountability to address problems of good governance and Corruption.
  • Involve youth in practicing constructive societal changes.
  • Motivate youth to be agents of transformation within their community.
  • Create networks of knowledge sharing; learning about governance and anti-corruption issues.
  • Utilize the web to develop social participation amongst youth the citizens of tomorrow.
