The Vice Chancellor University of Sindh Dr. Nazir A.Mughal has approved to pay the Monthly salarary to Teaching Assistants during the months of the summer vacations.

The Vice Chancellor University of Sindh Dr. Nazir A.Mughal has approved to pay the Monthly salary to Teaching Assistants during the months of the summer vacations. The approval in this connection was granted by the Vice Chancellor in a meeting of the Committee, constituted to recommend the solutions towards demands of the Sindh University Teachers Association (SUTA) submitted to the Vice Chancellor.
The Committee meeting was convened by the Vice Chancellor on Sunday which was attended by all members of Committee comprising Dr. Rafia Ahmed Shaikh and Dr. Imdad Ali Ismaili Pro Vice Chancellors of Badin and Mirpurkhas Campuses respectively, Acting Pro Vice Chancellor Dr. Muhammad Hussain Shaikh, Deans of the Faculties Dr. Parveen Munshi, Advocate Jhamat Jethanad, Syed Abdul Ghaffar Shah Associate professor Institute of Plant Sciences, Muhammad Nawaz Narejo Controller of Examinations, Registrar Akhtar Ahmed Memon. The meeting which was presided over by the Vice Chancellor discussed the 18 point demands of the SUTA and examined it deeply and thoroughly with positive consensus in the light of the University rules and regulations framework.
The meeting also discussed the demands of SUTA in connection with
residential and pick and drop facility to faculty members of Badin and
Dadu Campuses as well as award of scholarships to faculty members of the Badin Campus. The committee gives their positive recommendations on the genuine problems of the SUTA for its resolutions. The Vice Chancellor while considering a genuine problem immediately approved to allow monthly salary to the Teaching Assistants working in various teaching departments during the months of the summer vacations in the University. A meeting of University Vice Chancellor and Committee members with the SUTA representatives is already scheduled to be held on November, 17.
