The University of Sindh is going to sought help from Oxford University Press to upgrade its University Bookshop with availability of bookspublished by the Oxford University press.

The University of Sindh is going to sought help from Oxford University Press to upgrade its University Bookshop with availability of books published by the Oxford University press. In this connection a meeting was held between Vice Chancellor Dr. Nazir A.Mughal and Regional Manager Sales Oxford University Press Syed Sheraz Hyder here on Friday. Dr. Muhammad Raees Acting Dean Research, Director Planning Muhammad Ali Roshan, Director Institute of Sindhology Muhammad Qasim Maka and others were also present. The Vice Chancellor said that idea of the establishment of University’s own Bookshop at Campus is to provide facility to students of the University of Sindh as well as LUMHS and MUET students and students of the schools located at Jamshoro. He said that with availability of textbooks of various disciplines for students of Sindh University as well as for students of LUMHS and MUET, they would be facilitated. The Vice Chancellor said that he want to see bookshop full modernized
system to cater  the needs of students of all three Universities and College and schools located in Jamshoro. The Vice Chancellor said that the University is also going to open-up University bookshop at its Elsa Kazi Campus (Old Campus) Hyderabad soon. Later on the Vice Chancellor along with representative of Oxford University Press inspected bookshop located at building of newly constructed building of Dr. M.A Kazi Institute of Chemistry. The Vice Chancellor during his visit also inspected the building of Dr.A Kazi Institute of Chemistry and expressed grat concerned on
non-utilization and deficiency in new building. Th  Vice Chancellor
ordered for setup of a high level inquiry committee to examine the
deficiency and ignorance of the concerned Engineers and contractors.
